The Basics of Clubroot

The map shows positive clubroot (CR) findings by Rural Municipality from sampling conducted since 2009. In Manitoba, CR positive fields are defined as fields where DNA of the clubroot pathogen, Plasmodiophora brassicae, has been confirmed in soil or infected plants. MB Ag recommends growers in RM's with positive results take biosecurity precautions including cleaning of equipment by removing visible soil and plant debris between fields. for more information, contact MBAg.
